The Los Angeles Clippers are reportedly considering a trade for Indiana Pacers forward Paul George, according to a report by ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.
The Clippers are said to be interested in acquiring George, who is a restricted free agent and can become an unrestricted free agent next summer, due to his ability to play all five positions on the court.
George has been with the Pacers for his entire six-year NBA career and has been a key player for the team, earning two NBA All-Star selections and one All-NBA Team selection.
"We've had discussions with Paul's camp, but we haven't made any decisions yet," Pacers president Larry Bird said in a statement to ESPN.
The Clippers are also considering other options, including signing free agent center DeAndre Jordan to a long-term contract, according to a report by ESPN's Marc Spears.
Jordan, who has been with the Clippers for four years, is a free agent and can sign with any team this summer.
