Women's World Team Championships
The Women's World Team Championships is a biennial badminton tournament for national teams. It was first held in 1979 and is organized by the Badminton World Federation.
The tournament is divided into two categories: the World Team Championships and the World Team Qualification Tournament.
In the World Team Championships, eight teams compete in a round-robin format followed by a knockout stage. The top two teams in each group qualify for the knockout stage.
According to the Badminton World Federation, the tournament is "the most prestigious team competition in badminton".
