The hosts took the lead through a spectacular Richard Mpong header in the 25th minute before Daniel Afriyie Barnieh equalized for the visitors in the 61st minute.
Richard Mpong restored Vipers' lead from the penalty spot in the 72nd minute.

Legon Cities move up to 7th place in the table, while Hearts of Oak, who had a 100% home record this season before today's game, find themselves 4th in the table.
The win also means that Kotoko will be the champions of the Ghana Premier League, if they win their next 2 games.
