American traveler Ann Evans, who disappeared during a shore excursion from a Holland America cruise ship, has been located safely.
Evans went missing while participating in a guided tour on an island visited by the cruise. Local authorities and cruise personnel began an immediate search after realizing she had not returned to the ship by the scheduled departure time.
According to officials, Evans was found in good health and is now back with the cruise team. Details about how she became separated from her group have not been disclosed.
