Kirkwood's Season Ends in Class 5 Semifinal
Kirkwood High School's football team was defeated by defending state champion Platte County in the Class 5 semifinal. Despite the loss, Kirkwood senior receiver Jamiir Sloan reflected positively on their season:
"We're going to look back sometime soon and be proud of what we've done," Sloan said.
