Prince Harry has issued an apology following a playful incident that drew attention, coinciding with King Charles' decision regarding Prince Andrew’s royal role.
During his visit to Toronto for Remembrance Day events, the Duke of Sussex was interviewed by CTV News. When asked about wearing a Los Angeles Dodgers cap at the World Series, Harry responded with humor.
“Oh, the L.A. Well, firstly, I would like to apologize to Canada for wearing it.”
He added lightheartedly that he was under pressure at the time.
“There wasn't much choice. Dodgers box or the dugout by the owner himself. So, I was doing what I thought was the polite thing to do.”
Harry attended Game 4 of the World Series at Dodger Stadium, where the Dodgers lost. However, the team went on to win the championship by defeating the Blue Jays 5–4 in Game 7. During the CTV interview, Harry playfully wore a Blue Jays cap as a gesture of goodwill.
“I’ll wear this from now on so I don’t make that mistake again.”
