On November 6, 2025, Elder Gérald Caussé was called to serve as the newest member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Elder Caussé, who previously served as the Presiding Bishop of the Church, was sustained to his new position on Thursday and set apart by President Dallin H. Oaks along with other members of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.
