Lego has announced its first-ever Star Trek set, allowing fans to recreate the adventures of the beloved crew from The Next Generation. The model represents the iconic USS Enterprise-D and captures one of sci-fi’s most recognizable starships piece by piece.
"This set is a fantastic way to relive the adventures of the crew, piece by piece."
The detailed model consists of 3,600 pieces and depicts the NCC-1701-D version of the ship, as seen in Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987–1994) and the movie Star Trek: Generations (1994). The set will be available in stores and online in November, aimed at fans aged 18 and older, though many adults are expected to enjoy building it with their children.
Fans who purchase the set before December 1 will receive a special gift — a Type 15 Federation shuttlepod named Onizuka. The bonus piece honors NASA astronaut Ellison Onizuka, who lost his life during the 1986 Challenger mission.
To mark the launch, Lego and Paramount Products & Experiences will host Black Friday celebrations. Registered Lego insiders can also enter a sweepstakes before December 1 for a chance to win a signed set from Jonathan Frakes, the actor and director known for portraying Commander William Riker.
In London, Star Trek enthusiasts can visit Lego’s Leicester Square store to meet designer Hans Burkhand Schlömer, who will be signing the new model for fans.
Lego’s first Star Trek set brings the USS Enterprise-D to life with 3,600 pieces, exclusive gifts, and fan events celebrating both Star Trek’s legacy and hands-on creativity.
