Netflix Releases New Stranger Things Season 5 Character Posters
With less than three weeks until the highly anticipated fifth and final season of Stranger Things premieres, Netflix celebrated Stranger Things Day by unveiling a collection of character posters. The posters feature the core group, including Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Will (Noah Schnapp), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Steve (Joe Keery), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), Erica (Priah Ferguson), Robin (Maya Hawke), Hopper (David Harbour), Joyce (Winona Ryder), Murray (Brett Gelman), Karen (Cara Buono), and Holly (Nell Fisher).

Story Setting: Fall of 1987
Set in Hawkins, 1987, the town is still reeling from the opening of the Rifts. Now, the heroes unite with one mission: to locate and kill Vecna. However, Vecna has disappeared, leaving his whereabouts and intentions unknown.
The situation grows more complex as the government enforces a military quarantine over Hawkins and increases efforts to capture Eleven, forcing her into hiding again.
As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance nears, "so does a heavy, familiar dread."
