Alan Carr, a participant in the show Celebrity Traitors, has criticized his fellow contestants by calling them “thick” because none of them suspected his secret role as the murderer throughout the series.
Ahead of the show's finale, Carr flew to Florida and joked about being “the most hated man in the UK” after admitting to killing off characters like Celia Imrie and his friend Paloma Faith during the broadcast.
“That’s why I’m in America. I’m the most hated man in Britain,” Carr told Heart Radio while taking his niece and nephew to Universal Studios in Orlando.
He expressed amusement and exhaustion from acting as a murderer on TV, saying, “I’ve got loads of celebrity friends, but are they thick?” and joking about enjoying the act of murder, “I giggle when people are murdered. When they don’t come down for breakfast, I just stick cheese in my mouth.”
Fellow Traitor Cat Burns, 25, shared that she copes with the sudden fame mainly by staying home, calling the experience “a bit mad.”
Kate Garraway, recently eliminated from the show, speculated that Carr might win, attributing his success to his “chaotic energy” and noting how his uncontrollable giggles during challenges may have helped keep him safe.
Alan Carr’s humorous yet strategic role in Celebrity Traitors has captivated viewers, with his playful deception and energy making him a notable contender in the series.
