The following groups qualify for free transit on November 11:
Eligible individuals can use a badge, military ID, Veteran’s Service Card, or wear their uniform to access free transit.
TransLink also recognizes National Indigenous Veterans Day on Saturday, November 8, honoring Indigenous veterans' sacrifices and their role in global peace and security.
The Royal Canadian Legion will distribute poppies by donation at various transit hubs in Metro Vancouver. Customers are encouraged to use transit to attend Remembrance Day ceremonies across the region.
