The heir to the British throne joined Paris 2024 Olympian Carol Solberg Salgado for a friendly game of beach volleyball on Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
On Monday, 3 November, Prince William played beach volleyball alongside athletes from the Instituto Levante, Solberg’s volleyball school that supports disadvantaged youth through sport. This was part of his first day in Brazil.
“It’s not every day you get to play with a Prince,” said Solberg on social media. “He was very kind to everyone and even played a game with the team!”
