Sega has confirmed that fans of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds on the Switch will soon be able to upgrade to the Switch 2 version, bringing a significant boost in performance and resolution.
The game, previously capped at around 30fps on the original Switch depending on the number of players, will run at double the frame rate on the Switch 2. This upgrade enhances the experience, especially in split-screen multiplayer modes.
Alongside a higher resolution and improved visuals, the new edition requires 16GB of storage. Cross-platform matchmaking will be supported exclusively on Switch 2.
