Seven neighbours living on the same street in Brookmans Park are set to share an impressive £1 million prize from the People's Postcode Lottery.
Steven Bean, 52, one of the triple-ticket winners, pledged to donate part of his £249,999 prize to support a local charity aiding adults with learning difficulties.
“The first thing I’m going to do is give some money to a charity who had a bus stolen and burned.”
The charity, [translate:Camphill Milton Keynes], had its only minibus stolen and later found torched on October 9.
“The bus is insured, but it won’t cover the cost of getting a new one. Hopefully other people will give them a few quid too.”
