Ed Harris complained early on about his limited part in the new show in Dutton Ranch, the Yellowstone spin-off. He thought the role was pointless and wanted to leave. Harris told Variety, 'with frustration Get me the f- out of here' as he walked away. He later chose to return for Season 2 to return for Season 2. The show’s boss reworked the story and gave his character additional depth. That change made Harris choose to stay. Deadline now says he will appear again in the part.
